Privacy Policy
ContentPet helps creators connect official social accounts, track posting streaks, use widgets, and generate content ideas. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.
Information we collect
When you create or sign in to a ContentPet account, we may process your email address, Sign in with Apple identifier, display name if provided, authentication session data, support ID, and support messages you send to us.
When you connect Instagram, Threads, TikTok, or YouTube, we may receive account identifiers, usernames, display names, profile images, channel or profile metadata, access and refresh tokens, and recent post, reel, thread, video, or media metadata such as post IDs, captions or titles, media type, thumbnails, URLs, publish dates, and basic account statistics made available by the connected platform.
We may also process app settings, selected streak source, leaderboard visibility, widget and Live Activity state, AI idea prompts and generated ideas, subscription status, purchase product identifiers, diagnostic logs, and approximate technical data needed to keep the service secure and working.
How we use information
We use data to provide account login, official social account connection, profile display, streak tracking, widgets, Lock Screen timers, leaderboard participation if enabled, AI idea generation, subscription access, fraud prevention, debugging, customer support, security, and compliance with platform requirements.
AI idea generation
If you use AI ideas, ContentPet may send your selected platform, connected account context, recent post metadata, topic, audience, format preferences, and prompt text to an AI service provider to generate creative suggestions. Do not enter private, sensitive, or confidential information into prompts. AI output is only a creative draft and should be reviewed before publishing.
Google API disclosure
ContentPet's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Third-party services
ContentPet works with service providers that help us run the app, including hosting providers, email delivery, Apple Sign in, Apple App Store, RevenueCat for subscription infrastructure, social platform APIs, and AI infrastructure. These providers may process information on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies.
Data sharing
We do not sell personal data. We do not store passwords for connected social platforms. We share information only when needed to operate ContentPet, comply with law, protect the service, process subscriptions, respond to support requests, or communicate with the official APIs and providers you choose to connect.
Data storage and security
OAuth tokens, account records, and app data are stored on backend systems and used only to operate the features you request. Private backend endpoints require an authenticated ContentPet session. We use HTTPS, token encryption at rest where technically appropriate, database access controls, restricted network access for internal services, and reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No online service can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.
Your choices
You can disconnect social accounts in the app, change whether you appear on leaderboards, copy your Support ID, and delete your ContentPet account from the Account screen. You can also revoke access from Instagram, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, Google, or Apple account settings. To request deletion or ask privacy questions, contact support@content-pet.com.
Retention and deletion
Account deletion removes ContentPet account records and connected tokens from active systems, subject to limited retention for backups, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and unresolved support requests. Disconnecting a social account removes the stored token for that platform but does not delete your account on that platform.
Subscriptions
Subscription purchases are processed by Apple App Store and entitlement status is handled with RevenueCat. ContentPet receives subscription status and product identifiers, but not your full payment card details.
Children
ContentPet is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. If changes are material, we will update the date above and provide notice where appropriate.
